Graham Dean
- initially trained to teach primary - main course Biology - first post teaching Chemistry in a secondary modern school;
- first met (and fell in love with) computers whilst studying with the Open University in 1972;
- taught at St Barnabas', Darwen 1975 to 2004 (deputy from 1979);
- acquired first classroom computer in 1982 (12 months before the DTI initiative);
- written some basic computer programs (2 of which were commercially published, and published others myself);
- written/continue to write articles on classroom use of computers along with reviews of computer software and
web sites
- written/continue to write a number of (mainly unfinished) web resources;
- trained as a NOF trainer for Lancashire Consortium, and was involved with the training of teachers
in 6 schools;
- taught the FDG 109 module since autumn 2002;
- worked as an consultant for Blackburn with Darwen Council, eLearning service since September 2004
- ... went part time in 2006 & now work 3 days per week for Bwd and also do independent training/consultancy work
