Outcomes
By the end of the session you should:
- have knowledge of pupils' progression in ICT, related to NC levels and strands
- considered the reasons for assessment - formative/summative
- have looked at some tools for recording pupils' progress
- be aware of strategies for the teaching of ICT to pupils with differing needs
- have visited websites which give advice and guidance on the teaching of ICT to pupils with differing needs
- be aware of how a standard computer may be adjusted to make software more accessible.
- become more familiar with spreadsheets: understanding some of their possible uses.

- Changing some of the settings available through Start menu > Control panel can make life more simple
(e.g. changing size of pointer, speed of mouse, behaviour of keyboard)
