2012 has got off to a good start with 5 good walks before the middle of April! The latest of these explored the Cheedale, a hidden valley in the Peak District. The route follows the Monsal Trail above the river, through tunnels and cuttings, then returns through the narrow gorge at river level. Other walks this year have been through the Cheesden Valley below the moors between Edenfield and Rochdale, around Hurst Green (which included a section of the Ribble Way), on Darwen Moor and along the River Roddlesworth as well as walk in the Yorkshire Dales (which included another section of the Ribble Way) from Austwick to Feizor.
